The 88 Business Collective supports Female Founders determined to scale through collaboration. Over the past few years since launching in 2016 and rolling out our first two accelerator programmes, we gained significant insight into the interventions needed to create a robust pipeline for the tech ecosystem.
Our Impact Assessment Report compiled and verified by PwC, specifically for our accelerator programme, quantifies the impact of the 6-month programme. In addition, it provides Female Founders an overview of their overall performance month-on-month. The data science we utilize enables high impact data driven interventions.
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future.
At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries - developed and developing - in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.
Our mission is aligned to Goal 8: Decent work and economic growth since we are driven by the believe that inclusive and sustainable economic growth will reduce poverty. More progress is needed to increase employment opportunities, particularly for young people, reduce informal employment and the gender pay gap and promote safe and secure working environments to create decent work for all.
